01What it does
connector for self-hosted Audiobookshelf: browse and search libraries, items, authors, series, and collections, track listening progress and bookmarks, audit misorganized books on disk, send ebooks to ereader devices, and run bounded maintenance (scans, metadata, covers, collections, playlists) behind destructive-operation confirmations. Read-only by default.
02How to connect
Claude
Download a release binary from the repo (or run "docker run --rm -i ghcr.io/jeeftor/abs-mcp:0.5.0") and add it to your Claude config with "ABS_BASE_URL" and "ABS_API_KEY" env vars. Read-only unless you set "ABS_READ_ONLY=false"; destructive tools require exact confirmation strings.
