01What it does
Hindsight is a persistent semantic memory system built by Vectorize that retains, recalls, and reflects knowledge across conversations. Its connector integration works with Perplexity as a custom connector (Perplexity Pro required) and also with ChatGPT, adding searchable long-term memory to both.
02How to connect
Perplexity
Open Perplexity Settings, then Connectors, click + Custom Connector, name it Hindsight, and set the connector URL to https://api.hindsight.vectorize.io/mcp/YOUR_BANK_ID/ (replace YOUR_BANK_ID with your bank name or default). Click Add and sign in to Hindsight Cloud when the browser window opens.
ChatGPT
Go to ChatGPT Settings, then Apps and Connectors, click Create connector, name it Hindsight, and use the URL https://api.hindsight.vectorize.io/mcp/YOUR_BANK_ID/ (replace YOUR_BANK_ID with your bank name or default). Sign in to Hindsight Cloud when the OAuth window opens.
