01What it does
Linear ships an official hosted connector that lets Claude find, create, and update issues, projects, and comments using your own Linear sign-in. You can triage a backlog, file bugs, or draft project summaries in plain English. A read-only endpoint is available if you want Claude to look without touching anything. Also available as a Microsoft-published connector for Microsoft 365 Copilot. Also available as a connector for Perplexity. Also available as a connector for Grok.
02How to connect
Claude
Add the Linear connector in Claude's settings, connect Linear in ChatGPT's connector settings, or point any connector client at Linear's official connector.

Copilot
Admin: Microsoft 365 admin center > Copilot connectors > Your connections > enable the Linear connector. User: open Sources in the Researcher agent or deep-research mode in Microsoft 365 Copilot chat and sign in with your own Linear credentials when prompted.
Perplexity
In Perplexity, open Computer > Connectors, click Enable next to Linear, and authenticate via OAuth. For the Agent API: add Linear on your Project's connectors page in the API Console, copy the connector ID, and reference it as type 'connector' in requests.
Grok
1. Go to grok.com/connectors. 2. Click New Connector and select Linear. 3. Sign in with OAuth.
