Meltwater's official connector exposes the Mira API — news and social insights, saved searches, tags, and analytics — as tools for AI agents. Claude Desktop connects via mcp-remote to https://api.meltwater.com/mcp with your Meltwater API token. Also available as a connector for Grok.

02How to connect

Claude

Get your Meltwater API token, then add an mcpServers entry in claude_desktop_config.json using npx mcp-remote https://api.meltwater.com/mcp with an apikey header set to your token, and restart Claude Desktop.

Grok

1. Go to grok.com/connectors. 2. Click New Connector and select Meltwater. 3. Sign in with OAuth (active Meltwater subscription required). Catalog connector endpoint: https://api.meltwater.com/v2/mcp
