01What it does
Full control of a self-hosted Navidrome music library: browse and search artists/albums/songs, build and reorder playlists from listening data, star and rate items, discover similar artists and missing albums via Last.fm, fetch synced lyrics, manage internet radio stations, and analyze listening patterns. Optional local speaker playback through mpv and a built-in web remote UI.
02How to connect
Claude
Run "npm install -g navidrome-mcp" and add the "navidrome-mcp" command to your Claude config. On first run a browser settings page opens where you enter your Navidrome URL and credentials (stored locally in settings.json, never in the client config). Requires Node 20+ and a running Navidrome server; optional mpv for local audio playback and Last.fm key for discovery tools.
