01What it does

Ask your Oura Ring anything, in ChatGPT or Claude, in any language: 10 read-only tools for sleep, sleep detail, readiness, activity, stress, vitals, workouts, tags, heart rate, and profile, with token-efficient responses designed for LLMs. Because Oura deprecated personal access tokens (Dec 2025), it uses OAuth via your own free Oura app; tokens stay on your machine. Ships with an instant demo mode (sample data) and one-click Claude Desktop .mcpb install. Requires an active Oura subscription for real data.

02How to connect

Claude

Download "oura-mcp.mcpb" from the repo's latest release and double-click it to install in Claude Desktop -- demo mode works instantly with sample data. For real data, register a free personal Oura app (redirect URI http://localhost:8888/callback) and paste the client id/secret into the extension's Configure page; requires an active Oura subscription. A Docker route (ghcr.io/rajskij/oura-mcp:latest) works with any stdio client.

ChatGPT

Self-host on a public HTTPS host (docker compose up -d after registering a free Oura OAuth app and completing one-time browser consent), then in ChatGPT go to Settings -> Apps, enable Developer mode, Create a new app with your "https://your-host/mcp/<MCP_PATH_SECRET>" endpoint and auth "No auth", and enable it from the + menu. Requires ChatGPT Plus or above and an active Oura subscription.
