01What it does
Full Paperless-ngx document management over connector: search, upload, download, tag, and organize documents; manage correspondents, document types, storage paths, custom fields, mail rules, and share links; plus AI-assisted workflows (auto-classify, process inbox, bulk-tag by content) and optional local semantic search via sqlite-vec. Paperless-ngx 3.0 ready.
02How to connect
Claude
Add "npx -y @orellbuehler/paperless-mcp" to your Claude config with "PAPERLESS_URL" and "PAPERLESS_TOKEN" env vars (token from Paperless-ngx Settings -> Administration or POST /api/token/). Set "EMBEDDINGS_ENABLED=true" (plus an OpenAI key or Ollama URL) to turn on local semantic search.
