Pinecone ships its own connector from the pinecone-io GitHub organization. It lets Claude search Pinecone docs, list and describe indexes, check index stats, create indexes, and upsert and search records. You need a Pinecone API key for anything beyond searching documentation.

02How to connect

Claude

Install Claude Desktop, open Settings, then Developer, then Edit Config, add the Pinecone server block from their GitHub page with your API key, and restart Claude Desktop.
