Plane's official connector lets Claude or ChatGPT work with your projects and issues — list projects, create and update issues, and check status — using your own Plane sign-in. It connects over Streamable HTTP, and a legacy SSE endpoint exists for older clients.

02How to connect

Claude

In Claude, open Settings then Connectors, add https://mcp.plane.so/http/mcp as a custom connector, and sign in to Plane.

ChatGPT

In ChatGPT, open Settings and connect Plane through the developer mode plugins page, then sign in to your Plane account.
