01What it does
Salesforce's official hosted connector connects your Salesforce org to AI assistants, letting them query records, run reports, and take CRM actions over OAuth with no local install. Ask about pipeline, accounts, or recent changes, and have the assistant draft updates or summaries back in your org. Also available as a connector for Perplexity. Also available as a connector for Grok.
02How to connect
Claude
Add the Salesforce hosted connector in Claude's connector settings and complete the OAuth sign-in.
ChatGPT
Add the Salesforce connector connector in ChatGPT and complete the OAuth sign-in.
Perplexity
In Perplexity, open Computer > Connectors, click Enable next to Salesforce, and authenticate your Salesforce org via OAuth. The connector can then be used in Computer conversations and Scheduled Tasks.
Grok
1. Go to grok.com/connectors. 2. Click New Connector and select Salesforce. 3. Complete the OAuth sign-in flow. For Grok Business/Enterprise, a team admin must first provision the connector in the cloud console.
