Algolia launched an official production-grade connector (Productivity connector) with documented setup flows for both ChatGPT and Claude. After enabling it in the Algolia dashboard, you can run product search, facet discovery, and catalog retrieval with your existing Algolia permissions. The server connects over remote HTTP with OAuth sign-in.

In Claude, open Connectors settings, add a custom connector with the Algolia connector URL from their docs, and sign in with your Algolia account.
ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, open Connectors settings, click Create, enter the Algolia server URL with OAuth authentication, and sign in with your Algolia account.
