01What it does

Lets you ask questions of your Snowflake data from inside Claude. You create a Snowflake-managed connector with SQL that exposes Cortex Analyst semantic views, Cortex Search services, or plain SQL execution as tools, all under your existing Snowflake roles and permissions. Claude then answers data questions by calling those tools instead of making you write queries.

02How to connect

Claude

Create a Snowflake-managed connector with the CREATE connector SERVER SQL command, set up OAuth credentials for Claude, then add the Snowflake connector in Claude Desktop under Settings / Connectors with your server URL, client ID, and secret.
