01What it does
Shopify announced on October 28, 2026, as part of its Fall '26 Edition, that Shop Pay checkout is now available inside personal AI agents starting with Muse from Meta. Shoppers buying from Shopify stores in Muse can check out with Shop Pay; the buyer stays in control of each purchase and the card is never shared with the agent, with payment via tokens from Mastercard, Visa and Discover (American Express coming soon). In Muse, Shop Pay covers purchases from Shopify stores only.
02How to connect
Muse
In Muse, shop a Shopify store and choose Shop Pay at checkout, signing in to your Shop Pay account. Approve each purchase total in chat before it goes through.
