Socket's official connector exposes Socket.dev's dependency security scores through connector. Score npm/PyPI/cargo/Maven packages, audit package.json files, and flag risky dependencies — via the hosted public server at https://mcp.socket.dev/ or self-hosted npm package.

02How to connect

Claude

Run: claude mcp add --transport http socket-mcp https://mcp.socket.dev/ and complete Socket OAuth in the browser; or self-host with pnpm add -g @socketsecurity/mcp and a SOCKET_API_TOKEN.

03Pricing

Hosted public server is free to use with Socket sign-in; API token for self-hosting
