01What it does
Cloud content management for the enterprise. The official Claude connector securely connects your Box content to Claude so you can search and query documents across your entire Box account, extract key metadata, upload new file versions, and create folders. Also available as a Microsoft-published connector for Microsoft 365 Copilot. Also available as a connector for Perplexity. Also available as a connector for Grok.
02How to connect
Claude
In Claude, open Settings, go to Connectors, search for Box, and sign in.
Copilot
Admin: open the Connectors gallery in the Microsoft 365 admin center, add the Box connector, and follow Box's setup guide to configure the connection. Indexed Box content then appears in Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Search.
Perplexity
In Perplexity, open Computer > Connectors, click Enable next to Box, and authenticate your Box account via OAuth. The connector can then be used in Computer conversations and Scheduled Tasks.
Grok
1. Go to grok.com/connectors. 2. Click New Connector and select Box. 3. Sign in with OAuth. Catalog connector endpoint: https://mcp.box.com
