01What it does

You can add Claude to your Slack workspace to message it directly, mention it in threads, and get help without leaving Slack. The Slack connector also lets Claude search your workspace's channels, direct messages, and files when you ask it something in the Claude app. Also available as a connector for Perplexity.

02How to connect

Claude

In Claude, go to Customize > Connectors, find Slack, and click Connect. Your Slack admin may need to approve the app before you can use it.

ChatGPT

Add the Slack app from ChatGPT's app directory and sign in to your Slack workspace.

Perplexity

In Perplexity, open Computer > Connectors, click Enable next to Slack, and authenticate your workspace via OAuth. For the Agent API: in the Perplexity API Console, open your Project's connectors page, add Slack, copy the connector ID, and reference it as type 'connector' in Agent API requests.

03Pricing

Requires a paid Slack plan; no separate connector pricing.
