01What it does
The SharePoint connector lets ChatGPT search your team's SharePoint sites and document libraries, reference company documents in answers, and build cited deep research reports from internal knowledge. Access follows your organization's SharePoint permissions. Also available as a connector for Perplexity. Also available as a connector for Grok.
02How to connect
ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, open the Plugins Directory, find the plugin that includes SharePoint, select Connect, and sign in with your Microsoft work account.
Perplexity
In Perplexity, open Computer > Connectors, click Enable next to SharePoint (part of the Microsoft 365 connector), and authenticate your Microsoft 365 account via OAuth. The connector can then be used in Computer conversations and Scheduled Tasks.
Grok
1. Go to grok.com/connectors. 2. Click New Connector and select SharePoint. 3. Complete the OAuth sign-in flow. For Grok Business/Enterprise, a team admin must first provision the connector in the cloud console.
